Booking a Sky Engineer

I spent over 30 minutes on the phone today trying to book a Sky engineer without success. I spoke to 2 different people and was about to be put through to a 3rd when I had to end the call (I was at work).

I recently had my house rendered and the Plasterer removed the dish from house for this work. I now need a Sky Engineer to visit and refit it to my house. Quite a simple request. At least thats what I assumed. From what I can gather, the main issue is that I am Sky+ and not SkyQ.

It's pretty frustarting. I just want my dish refitting to my house. I don't want to upgrade or anything else. Am I missing something??

It should be easy enough to book an engineer - however, the rendering may present a problem. Sky may not agree to install a dish on a rendered wall as there's a risk of damage to the rendering.

It may be easier to find a local satellite installer to reinstall the dish for you. As a guide, Sky would charge you £65 for the work.
