BBC on demand problem

I also discovered last night that I've got the same issue. I managed to find the programme via catch up, but also noticed that BBC2 are not showing old episodes when you go through search through Sky, only showing episodes to record that haven't aired yet. Not sure what's going on with the beeb. I restarted sky box but made no difference. I tried itv and C4 and they work fine.

I have this problem too.  I can't see the iPlayer anywhere, only BBC in the catch up channels boxes.  If I try to use this, everything comes up as no channels of this type or there seems to be a broadband issue (there isn't and the router is connected by Ethernet cable).  Also doesn't work using the search button.  So not sure what is meant by using the iPlayer menus?  As others say, it is only a problem with BBC channels.

I have done, but it's good to know that the problem isn't just localised to my sky box and that the issue is wider. Hopefully Sky will sort this issue out soon

Using your Sky+ box and not the Sky Go app go to Catchup > iplayer and then go through here to find the content you want as this should work.

It's not badged as I player on sky plus, but if you go into catch up then bbc you should get the content. It took me a while to find what I was looking for. Had to go in through all type first letter of programme to get in roughly the vicinity then scroll through. 

If the programme starts with The go to the letter of the second word.

Thanks for these suggestions, but I'm afraid nothing works for me.  If I go to Catch Up, then BBC, I immediately get the message "there are no programmes of this type".  Then if I try looking through the search button I can find the programme I want but if I try to download it I immediately get the message "there appears to be an issue with the broadband connection at this time" (there isn't any issue and it works fine for anything except BBC programmes).  
Frankly, I think I'll scrap Sky and just use a streaming service now I have fast full fibre broadband.  I'm sick of constant problems with Sky and might as well save some money!

I have been watching a bbc series for weeks using the Sky planner, next episode auto downloads after watching each episode until 29th sep . now all bbc programs report problems with broadband connection. Have sky or bbc blocked these programes.Why put a message saying broadband connection problem when theres nothing wrong with the broadband. Now have to carry on watching on I player using a firestick which is a bit of a faff.

The soloution is as previously posted so go to Catchup > BBC  and go from here to find the program in question as you can then download it yourself.

Which makes it all the more annoying.  Not sure if they are all using Sky + HD boxes?  It's interesting that Sky have maintained silence about all these posts.  I assume they monitor the discussion forum.
