Sky Go on Playstation 5 has arrived - say "Hello"!

If you use TV from Sky on a Playstation 5 from later today, this will become Sky Go.

A major overhaul has been completed over several months to bring Sky Go to a PS5, which introduces the Sky Q menu and features such as Continue Watching, Auto-play and subtitles for the first time to consoles. The app will launch on PS4, XBox one, Series S/X consoles over the next couple of months.

This is an exciting change for anyone watching Sky TV on Games Consoles, which hasn't changed since 2015. We're sure you'll love this, and with all the new features the app will bring, you'll be streaming in no time!

How do I get Sky Go on Playstation 5?

To get Sky Go on Playstation 5, you'll need to go to the Apps section on your PS5, select the 'TV from Sky' app and update the app. Starting next week, Sky Go will be automatically made available to all Playstation 5 users!

Note: To use Sky Go on the console apps, you will need to have Sky Go Extra or Multi-Screen. If you've got Sky Glass, you'll need a Whole Home subscription.

As this is a brand new app, you will need to sign back in using your Sky iD when using the new app for the first time.

We are aware of some customers experiencing sign-in issues. This has been escalated to the relevant team.

Since we upgraded the old 'TV from Sky' app, users who were using it without Sky Go Extra / Whole Home / Multi-Screen are now being logged out.

If you have Sky Go Extra or Multi-Screen and still are unable to use the app, please head to this thread and ask for your post to be escalated, where we can check if your add-ons are enabled from your account.
