What is the Sky remote app?
The Sky remote app makes it easy to control your Sky Glass or Sky Stream straight from your phone or tablet!
What do I need to get started?
To use the Sky Remote app, you’ll need:
- A Sky Glass or Sky Stream device connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your phone or tablet.
- A compatible mobile device.
- The Sky Remote app, available on the App Store or Google Play.
How do I download the Sky Remote App?
For Apple devices
- Open the App Store.
- Tap the search bar and type Sky Remote app.
- Tap Get, then Install.
(If you’ve downloaded it before, you’ll see a cloud icon.) - Enter your iTunes password if prompted, then tap OK.
For Android devices
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Tap Search and type Sky Remote app.
- Tap the app, then Install.
- Enter your Play Store password if prompted.
- Tap Accept.
How do I connect my devices?
- Make sure your Sky Glass or Sky Stream is on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open the app it will automatically search for compatible devices.
- On first use, select your device. Once connected, the remote will appear.
- Next time you open the app, it will try to reconnect to the last device used.
