For the first time ever, Sky Sports is inviting four young football fans to step in front of the cameras and give viewers at home a special presentation of Premier League fixture Brentford FC v Liverpool FC on 2 January 2023.

Brentford V Liverpool will be available to all Sky TV subscribers on Sky Showcase

Titled Premier League Juniors, the broadcast will offer viewers an alternative way to enjoy the fixture available exclusively on Sky Sports and NOW. Sky Sports presenter Kelly Cates will be joined by two junior fans of both Clubs who will have a go at a variety of roles during the broadcast including presenting, interviewing managers and players, as well as commentating.

The four children joining Sky Sports - either from Hounslow schools or schools who work with the Liverpool FC Foundation - are Naveed, Rishi, Delilah and Aman.

Just given up watching the Brentford Liverpool game as I do not want to listen to school boys commentating on the match with split screens totally ruining all enjoyment of the game. If this is a ploy by Sky to get me to upgrade they are sorely mistaken as I am more likely to cancel the lot. This costs me a lot of money and I expect professional service.

Premier League Juniors is without a doubt worth every penny of my Sky subscription this month! Honesty, transparency, fairness and knowledge from these amazing young people has been brilliant. Please do it for more matches!

Premier League Juniors???? NO NO NO NO NO NO NO !!!!!!
Ok, I can turn to another channel and not listen, but you're still taking up a channel where other good games, like Championship, could be being shown with decent commentary and no giggly kids getting excited when Mo Salah gets posession!!!

If you want to be inclusive to kids, invite them to your production area and show them how things work. That could inspire many different possibilities for kids and inspire kids a future interest or career.  Teach the kids all the details of how it's done and works so they can learn before throwing our subscription money away like this and irritating many others.

What will be next, Sky Sports Premier League Dogs?  - I hear dogs are very under represented in Sky, so they could bark the numbers of the players. Or what about Premier League Virtue Signalling Channel where you force your subscribers to take a knee before they can see the game.  (Sky would be experts in that one!)
