What an unbelievable journey the Premiere League has taken us on. Thinking back to last October, when these two teams drew 2-2, it's not hard to see why this game is so anticipated.
Despite both teams still having to play seven more matches after this Sunday's clash, it feels like a monumental moment. The two sides have totally dominated the past four seasons. Across the past 15 matches that both teams have played, they've collected 38 points...each. No single team across the top 5 European leagues can claim a higher - or equal - total.
With Man City's Kevin De Bruyne in top condition, averaging 3.1 shots per game, he will no doubt be in attack mode this Sunday. But he'll be battling against the strength of Trent Alexander Arnold, key assist and top defender of Liverpool.
It comes as no suprise that Man City are odds-on to win the match. They're on home soil, where the fan's blood runs blue. But Liverpool have had such a journey, smashing game after game. The momentum can't stop there, can it?
There will be a bumper line-up in the Sky Sports studio with Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Roy Keane and Micah Richards all in attendance.
