where can I use the Puck?

I have the Puck in my main telly down stairs, and thought you could sign in to sky on my computer and watch it on there. i signed in to my account and theres no link to watching anything on there, so I downloaded sky go, and it let me sign in but needs a PIN, but not the puck PIn, so where do i get the second PIN from, and why do I need a second pin, when all I want to do is watch stuff on my computer?

Or do I need to physically take the Puck upstairs and wire it into the hmdi on there?

The Sky Go app is unrelated to the Stream puck: it's the Sky content subscription which covers both.

The Sky Go PIN is described here:

You can do that if you wish, but the monitor would have to be capable of HDCP 1.4 for HD content and HDCP 2.1 for UHD.
