braodband is ok, strong and I've reset but constant freezing and sound out of sync. Is my Sky Stream device faulty ?

What do you mean by strong broadband? Are you referring to the speed?
Speed is only part of the performance equation what is equally important is a strong and stable network connection. How do you have the puck connected to your network?
The lip sync issue is a known issue that Sky are investigating. Freezing is typically caused due to the reason I've mentioned above.

Freezing is also an issue for Sky to sort. I have excellent WiFi and stable network and I get the freezing and black screens intermittently. It's nothing to do with my ISP.
I am hoping everything gets sorted by Sky / Comcast next year.
Sky stream is a good product but just needs updating, hopefully in the new year. The menus are great and the way you can move about is really positive
