sky broadband with tv

Looking at broadband switching and with that considering sky sports add on

I am struggling to find an useful content on how thsi works.

Their is a mention of a puck, and it seems like that connects with mains and hdmi.  What other connections does it come with?

I have more that one tv in the house, some without hdmi.  Can I assume those without hdmi are not suitable for sky?

For those with hdmi do I require a seperate puck for each tv?  How is that achieved?

For on the go watching via mobile / tablet.  How is that achieved?

If it possible to download an app onto tv to save the need for having to use a puck?

Are there any other alternate approaches?

If all you want is Sky Sports then you'd probably be better off getting it via NOW TV which is a simple app that can be downloaded onto most smart TVs, streaming devices, tablets, and phones. You simply subscribe to Sky Sports on either a monthly basis or on a 6 or 12 month contract. You can then stream all the Sky Sports channels live in up to UHD with HDR quality if you like, depending on if you take out the Ultra Boost subscription or not. Ultra Boost also allows you to watch on multiple screens and devices at once at no extra charge.

With a Sky Stream puck you would need to add a puck to each TV you wanted to watch on, pay for the UHD/Atmos add-on if you want the best quality image, and pay for Whole Home to watch on multiple screens. There's also a base package of channels you need to pay for, either Essential TV or Ultimate TV, on top of which you'd pay for Sky Sports access.

Do a bit of research and see which one would suit you best. Both will work with any broadband supplier.
