How do i set up the remote to control a sony soundbar

I don't think  you  are able  to with the puck remote  only the puck and the tv I believe

Hi @DavidM6 In my case I have a Samsung TV and Soundbar.  The soundbar is connected via HDMI to the eARC input on the TV and in the puck settings I have HDMI control is turned on in the startup and standby menu.

On my TV there is an HDMI-CEC option that allows the TV remote to control external devices.  On a Samsung this is in the connection > External device manager menu but I assume your TV will have a similar option albeit possibly under a different name or menu structure.

When setting up the Stream puck remote via connected devices I only set it up for the TV and not the option "control a speaker system"

Maybe I'm misunderstand something, but can't @DavidM6  just go to Setting, Connect devices, Sky remote, and finally Control a speaker system?

@Stephen+Mourton Yes, that basically what I have described but have also included how to connect the soundbar up correctly to the TV so the Puck remote will also control the soundbar.

Many people do not connect it to the eARC input or use ther TV settings to control the soundbar.
