puck keeps stalling and cutting off?!

I am getting sick of My Puck cutting off, Stalling and getting out of sync!

Whatever I try to watch be it normal TV channels, NetFlix, Amazon or My Sky Package channels (Movies)

WHY!?!?!?

I pay approx. £30 for TV and another £20+ for My Broadband through Sky and think maybe I have been had!!!???

@70NY  How is you puck connecting to the hub?  What speeds are you getting over wifi, the issues you describe relate to poor speeds at the puck.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Indeed if you are connected via WiFi if suggested going into the pucks networking settings, disabling WiFi and then connecting the puck to your router via an Ethernet cable and see if that improves

things.

I get 67mbps

Connected via WiFi and Router is 15ft through one thin wall away.

I am afraid that it is not an option to connect via ethernet cable due to lay out of My Home (I rent)

Did you do that speed test directly from the puck?

 

Internet speed is only one part of it the strength and stability of the WiFi signal id also key.

 

if you can't directly test via an Ethernet the best thing to look at is power line adapters instead which can help you use Ethernet when you aren't close to the router.

Is 67 Mbps the level of service you bought or the sync speed to the router or the internet speed measured on the Puck using the Netflix Network Check?

It was the speed that I achieved using My phone as the Sky advisor was telling Me, BUT, I have a gain since done it and its as low as 3.5mbps, I also discovered today that I am paying £65 a month for this poor service!

It's best to measure the speed on the Puck using the Netflix Network Check😉

It still sounds like the issue is the WiFi stability and strength.
