puck keeps forgetting password

The sky glass puck keeps forgetting my password, so I have to re-enter it every day. Is this how it's supposed to work? No? So will you send me one that actually works instead of this broken rubbish.

@huhhh  This is a customer helps customer community, nothing can or will be sent on the back of a forum post.

A Stream puck doesn't require a password to be entered, except for apps on first time logins, so what password are you referring to?

Is this for your broadband router and if so who supplies your broadband as it may be an issue with the router rather than the Stream puck.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: puck keeps forgetting password

It's the WiFi password, it never remembers it, so I have to enter it again, it happens all the time.

The sky folk I spoke to told me to hardwire it, but that means putting cable through the ceiling and walls.

Everything worked fine with the sky Q setup, this is just not working properly, a new puck might fix it but I just don't know what to do about all of this.

@huhhh one idea which may help is to go into settings on the puck and go to Start up and Standby turn on the option to stay networked in standby and turn off the power saving option. These settings do help to stabilise the connection and the extra power used is minimal.
