missing programs on Sky Stream and general moan

Is it me, or it Sky stream a monmental step backwards. we've been sky customers for many years, with a brief break with Virgin. when we came back we were in rental with megabit connection so Stream seemed like a really good soltuion as we did not need to seek permission to put up a dish!  we are appoaching the end of our first contract period and I am serioulsy questioning the renewal.  The latest issue is there is no on demand catch for thew F1 sprint race from yesterday, we were out but thought no problem we'll just catchup because all the ads say you can. But alas no, it is not availabe, it is availible on the Sky go app but you have to wait for the schduled play in order to watch it. which brings me on to the next problem which is the inabilty to record, it relies entirley on there being a straeming service for replay. This was kind of ok when we first got it, however now the availabiliy of on demand shows seems significantly reduced and the ability to find things is woeful. 

Be interested to hear others expernes with Stream and work out if it si me doing somthign wrong?

Generally with the F1 if you add it to your playlist you will get a message on the top of the screen telling you that it has been "added to playlist and set to record". This then uses sky's cloud recording rather than having to use on-demand playback.

No local recording is well documented and has been the case since the product launched.

There was a big thread about it on in the community if you search for F1.

If you had added F1 to your playlist, you will get all the long weekend sessions cloud recorded.

After a week or so, the cloud recordings for F1 convert to an On demand version.

The whole year season so far On demand versions  are all there.

The catch up version is there, if you did not cloud recorded by adding to Playlist.

From Home menu

Select Sport>Formula 1

Scroll down to the 'Catch up on Sao Paulo'  rail, it's the fourth tile along that rail at the moment.

1hr 18m for the hd version.

thanks, however that recording is Teds notebook, think somone at sky has mis categorised the recording!  I have great isue with relying so much on the playlist, you shoudl just be able to find the recordings without so much fuss.

I just hate the over reliance on the playlist, as I mentioned we were out and missed the live broadcast. it's not jut this one it;s pretty much everythign I miss live, can never find it on catchup!

Have you added them to your playlist via the EPG?
