Hi
Two Pucks in house. Both suffer from the "There is a technical fault with this programme. Please try again later" problem, on some channels but tonight every channel affected. Powering off pucks and router for 15 mins didn't help, so I tried the recovery process below on one of the pucks.
- On your Sky remote, press 4 and 6 together for three seconds. This will reset your remote.
- Switch off the Sky Stream puck at the mains again. There's no need to unplug it.
- Press and hold the standby button on the bottom of the Sky Stream puck.
- 4. Keeping your finger on the standby button, switch the power back on at the mains and wait 10-15 seconds until you see the LED lights flash different colours, then remove your finger.
Important
Keep your finger on the button until you see the lights flash.
5. Let the Sky Stream puck complete the recovery process. This can take up to 15 minutes, depending on your broadband speed.
6. Switch the Sky Stream puck back on and follow the on screen steps to set it up.
So that seems to have been a bad idea, as now the puck boots to an updating software screen but doesn't progress. After 10 mins it will land on a screen with message to reset remote then press continue. If you do that the next screen advises to contact support and displays a reboot button.

Thanks for the reply. Left it on the update screen overnight. Was all good in the morning, just had to re-link account

This type of issue often requires intervention from Sky to get it resolved sooner rather than later☹️
