UHD and HD

I have 2 sky Pucks - one upstairs on an HD TV, and one downstairs on a UHD TV. 

I typically watch F1 in UHD downstairs, but sometimes I like to watch upstairs which is only a HD TV.

if I record the F1 in UHD, if I try to play upstairs I get the 'the content you have selected cannot be played on this device' message because it cannot downscale the content, but try as I might I don't seem to be able to record both HD and UHD versions of the same content so that I can watch back appropriate to the TV.

I don't want to record in HD as I mostly watch in UHD, but I'd just like the option to watch in HD sometimes in a different room.

is there a way to record the same show in 2 different formats - it seems I either have to record in HD so I can watch on both devices, or record in UHD but then am only able to watch downstairs.

You can set up two cloud recordings but they need to be in different playlists, one for the hd and another for the uhd.

Remove all your current playlist for the playlist cloud recordings you have set for this and then do a Sky Stream puck settings restart.

Do the hd one first on the hd tv puck from the epg on the F1 hd channel (not from the Sport>F1 menu rail links or from other showings) and then the uhd one on the uhd tv ouck from either the epg uhd channel, other showings or from the Sport>F1 menu rail  links.

Having both in different profiles is the important factor. You will still see both those playlist profiles on all pucks.

Some Sports cloud recording links do not do work with this method, that I have tried, like the Teds notebook programme and when we had it the Eurosport UHD content.
