TV volume control no longer works with remote

Sky have now sent me 2 replacement remotes to try and get the TV volume working again. Sony Bravia,always worked with sky's original remote. Still no joy. What do I do now? The chat box wants to send me a new Puck. Not sure that's gonna help. Or should I try it? I guess I'll lose all settings, presets, etc?

@PortlandBill   I can imagine that is frustrating.  Just so we can help hopefully, can you explain what you do when you get your new remote, are you expecting it to work straight from the box or have you tried to pair it up in 'Settings'?

Yes, gone through the process several times of clearing the remote (7&9), then pairing (1&3), then the 32x tries to see if any works.

Still can't control TV's volume from the Stream remote, despite being on the 3rd new remote.
