Just started using Sky Stream Puck, not by choice but because my HD plus box broke. I hate it & will never get used to it.
So, I am deaf & have to use subtitles, which work if you're watching "live " tv, but dont work in the playlist.
Anyone any ideas?
So now to watch a programme thats already been on, I have to come out of Sky Stream & go onto my normal TV & go into whatever APP that shows the programme ie BBCIPLAYER for Call The Midwife, thats the only way I can watch anything with subtitles, as anything in my playlist doesnt show subtitles. I've checked the 3 little dots on Sky when on playlist that just says search. I have gone into settings & subtitles are def on. Can anyone help? As I can only watch Sky Stream Puck with subtitles if live, otherwise its coming out of Sky & onto my TV. Its giving one headache 🙈

You will need to enable subtitles in each app on the puck. I.e. BBC iPlayer, ITVX etc as per the information here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/enabling-subtitles
Enabling for each app is via each app settings not the puck interface.
However they should be working for Live TV and Sky content ondemand. Is this the case?

Live TV as subtitles.
Whats on demand on Sky Puck?
I only thought I had the playlist?
So I need to go into each APP & find the settings for subtitles....
I miss my HD Plus, everything was so easy...🙈

On demand is any content that plays back in the Sky interface. I.e. if you go home > TV shows and watch from there. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-stream-faqs should help get to understand it.
But yes according as per the link in my first replay you need to enable it for each app.

Nothing in app settings to turn on subtitles. Subtitles arent mentioned anywhere in app settings.
Am I missing something?

On most of the apps you can turn on subtitles when something is playing. Rather than in the menus. Each app has a different interface for this.

The first link I posted gives you a link to instructions for each app.
