Streaming issues

We have 2 sky pucks and suffer from sound and picture freeze and sound sync issues on the puck furthest from the router. I have just ordered the upgraded router from sky but is there a fix for these issues prior to the new router arriving,

many thanks.

If your broadband speed is sufficient ( at least 30-35Mbps) the freezing is usually a sign of a poor network connection.

First thing is what is the broadband speed you are getting to your property?

Have you tried connecting the devices via Ethernet cables ( assuming you are using WiFi). This method provides a more stable internet connection as isn't prone to the interference WiFi networks suffer from.

Be useful to let us know what local network wifi/ethernet speed you are  getting via your Sky Stream pucks?

What Sky router do you have now as shown here;

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/set-up-hub-which-sky-hub-do-you-have

On both your pucks,

Open the netflix app on each stream puck.

From the Netflix left hand menu, scroll down to 'get help'

Click on 'check your network'

What is your connection speed showing?
