Stream puk not working

All of a sudden last night mid stream of a programe Sky Puk decided to stop working.  I know its not a wifi issue as puk in kitchen ok.  Ive tried switching boxes and cables and kitchen connection works fine - all skys contacts and down with technical difficulties so cant get anyone on the phone to sort this out only had since January surely should last a bit longer -there is a faint light on the puk box but not aa bright as my working one - do you agree it sounds like a faulty box or am i missing something?  Any help gratefully received!

@annamattic. A restart of the puck may resolve the issue for you as it tends to clear software glitches.  It's certainly worth a try.

 

To do this go to Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates > Restart device (do not do a factory reset).  It takes about 3 minutes to completely reboot. You will have a blank screen for a couple of minutes before the Sky logo appears so don’t worry when this happens as you start the process.

Faulty Puk wont engage with any input unfortunately

Hi again @annamattic.. Maybe call Sky for some additional troubleshooting and puck replacement if deemed necessary.

 

If Sky is your mobile provider you can phone them by  dialling 150.

 

If it is not your provider follow this link https://www.sky.com/help/home and scroll down to need more help, click on this and you will see an 0333 phone number to use to call Sky. Unfortunately I cannot include the actual phone number as the forum filters will block it.

 

To get past the chatbot just stay silent when it asks you questions and it will eventually put you through to the Customer Services team.

 

Apparently the quieter times to phone are 7-8 am or 8-9pm
