Stream keeps jumping forward when recording football

Hi,

I've just got sky glass and noticed a problem when recording the football. Every couple of minutes it jumps forward which makes watching a game impossible. If I watch the game live I have no such problems 

Anybody have any ideas what could cause this issue?

Hi 

have you tried pulling the plug for a few minutes ? Fixed all kinds of glitches!

Yea I've tried all that and plugged an Ethernet cable from the router to the TV in case it was a WiFi problem. Strange as it only seems to be recordings that are affected, if I watch the game live it doesn't jump

What kind of speeds are you getting on your glass? You can check this by going into the glass Netflix app going to settings and check network ....

You need to report it to the viewer relations team (viewerR@sky.uk) as it will be a playback issue (which has happened on other sports content in the past).

Once reported it will be sent over to the relevant back office team to investigate and resolve.

I have exactly this problem and can't find a way to correct it.  Did you report it to viewer relations?

Same problem trying to watch from my playlist tonight skipping about 20/30 seconds every minute or so.

Having a similar problem watching on sky stream. Jumps forward 10 seconds, pretty much every 20 seconds.

Yes same thing. Recorded chelsea v Arsenal as i was working and didnt want to know the score.

Came in and selected watch from start.

Then every min or so it jumped forward 12 seconds.

Then even worse with the score at 1-1 and 20 mins to go it froze and said waiting to upload and then when it did load it went straight to the live feed which was the sudio guys talking after the game with the final score displayed.

Totally ruined the whole game for me.

•  Sky Glass is the biggest waste of money ever i pay over £100 a month for a **bleep** service thatbis full of glitches. SORT IT OUT SKY.

I sent this to Viewer Relations last week.

Then got a call from Sky to say they are aware of the issue but dont have a solution.!

Not great.

Just got a call again from Sky to confirm it is a "known" issue but no fix at present.

Still happening with the Chelsea Arsenal game on Sunday 

They say they are working on a fix and if successful it will be rolled out on the next update, as yet unplanned.

Promised to look at my bill once resolved and weekly update call.

Spoke to Sky again today, apparently still not close to a fix for this.

Promised to keep me updated and recommended I watch on Sky Go on my phone instead lol. 

£100 per month and you can't watch football on demand 🙄
