Sky stream remote draining batteries

Hi my sky stream remotes are both draining batteries. I literally have to change them every 2 or 3 days.

Re: Sky stream remote draining batteries

Well that obviously should not happen.  I have had Stream for several months now and have had no need to change the batteries as yet.  So either it is a faulty remote in which case ask Sky for a replacement, or there is something wrong  with your batteries.  I hope that helps.

Hi @Kog and welcome to the forum.  When I first joined the streaming platform in July 2022 this was quite a common problem and I had the same problem but in my case the batteries lasted a couple of weeks.  I contacted Sky and requested a replacement remote which they sent me and I have not had any issues since then.

Log into your MySky account and then you can request a replacement at the following link: Streaming TV replacement remote

If you are lucky enough to have one available you can use a Sky Q remote while you wait for a replacement to arrive.
