Sky stream puck not connecting properly.
My sky stream puck keeps losing connection and won't load any programmes properly without telling me it's lost connection again. When I enter settings and update network settings it tells me there is an excellent connection. The time taking to run through the menu is also very slow with the screen showing please wait for long periods of time. Currently no programmes or apps will load. I've gone through all the suggested fixes but this has been ongoing for about 24 hours now.

What speed is your puck actually receiving?
To find out open the Netflix app, navigate to the get help menu and run a network check.
Sky Stream requires a constant and stable connection to Sky's servers of at least 25Mbps in order to function with any sort of reliability.
Giving the puck a regular reboot can also help improve sluggishness.
SkyOS is not like most other streaming devices in that a large part of its functionality is server-based, not on the puck itself, hence requiring an excellent quality network connection. It's up to the customer to provide this good network connection, be it by testing and maintaining a robust WiFi network or connecting via ethernet to their router.
