Sky stream ‘no WiFi connection’ on startup

Hi,

I have two sky stream pucks that both show 'no WiFi connection' on start up from standby, I have the 'networked on standby' switched on and I am using BT 500mb broadband with no other connection issues in the house.

HELP?!

Both my pucks have been doing this for the past few weeks. Normally, I wait a minute and press connect to WiFi (Forget exactly what it says) and all is fine.

Do you turn them off on the mains? They were designed to be left on standby

It's left switched on all the time and drops onto standby on its own

Have you tried using Standby rather than allowing power saving?

@jammyd123456789 Check that the Networked Standby mode is turned ON in your settings > Start Up & Standby menu.

When on it stops the pucks losing the network connection when they go into standby.  This worked for me 😀

EDIT - Apologies, I see you have already checked and it is on.  With my situation we had Glass and before we realised the option was off we found simply turning the Glass TV off with the remote and immediatly back on again got the network working again.

I've had the exact same issue for over a month with mine, and I suspect it must be a software fault. It normally sorts itself out after two or three attempts of off/on. But really annoying.

any luck in getting yours sorted?

@RuneJ  Have you tried turning on the Networked Standby Mode in your settings > Start Up & Standby menu.  This stops the Glass TV or Puck from losing the network connection when it goes into standby.

It sorted out the problem for me.
