I previously had skyQ which worked really well for streaming, it didn't freeze, good picture etc. It then came renewal time and I was told I need to go onto sky stream. My concern was whether this would still work as well due to everything working via the internet rather than the dish. I was told that this would be fine. Sky stream arrives and all it does is freeze when streaming, I can't even watch a 20 minute episode of nba via my ps5 without it being blurry or just freezing and not working. Similar issues with streaming via the puk and the wholes system throws a wobble and the Wi-Fi disconnects. Speaking to support I was then told that the maximum download speed I could get wouldn't support what I'm trying to do as sky stream uses over half of the download speed before anything else is using it then it can't handle the demand and kicks everything off. Apparently as I am getting the promised download of 15 there isn't anything I can do and this is the best available in my area, despite being told that it would work fine for what I needed, very frustrating as I'm not even asking a lot out of the broadband. Anyone else had similar issues and know how to ressolve it?

@Scott33 when did your order Stream ?
Sky advise you need at least 25 Mbps for HD and have done so for quite a while.
I reckon Sky pinches around 7 Mbps of my bandwidth but I don't have anyone or anything else sharing the connection most of the time.
You may find it will perform better with a direct ethernet connection to your router, if you can do so make sure you disable WiFi in the puck settings.

My recommendation is raising a complaint. They can log onto the box and see what the issue is, as the response you have been given doesn't make sense unless it is literally flooding the network with traffic and if that is the case then it is unlikely that switching to ethern will resolve that issue unless there is a serious issue with the wireless interface. What is the experience with and without the puck turned on?
