Sky stream freezes

it doesn't happen that often but, occasionally I'm watching something and all of a sudden the programme, or film just freezes and I have to turn off the Sky stream at the mains and turn it back on to reboot. It's  strange because, I don't have any Internet problems stream box is well ventilated and connected to the router by ethernet. It just decides to freeze occasionally.

It does actually sound like an internet issue. May I ask who your provider is and how you Stream Puck is connected to the internet.

Do 2 things in the first instance:

1) On a separate device do an Internet speed test to see how stable your connection is. Speed isn't always king, if your speeds fluctuate wildly this will affect how Sky Stream performs.

2) Open Netflix  on the Stream puck and do a speed test there to see what speeds your puck is actually receiving.
