Sky puck turning off

My father as Dementia and watches gold all day & night. Just switched contracts and got sky TV puck, only problem is, keeps going into standby. Have changed sleep mode to never, but still does it. Problem is, i have got to leave Dad, after 3pm, and a couple of hours later, puck goes off, and Dad is left sitting there, with no TV on, for over 17hrs, till i can get there, next day, its very upsetting & frustrating for him. Can anyone help me.

That's how the power saving feature works.

Its an EU regulation that means it needs to turn off after a period of time if it deemed inactive. The puck will think it's inactive after a couple of hours of no buttons on the remote have been pressed ( or the remote hasn't been picked up ).
