Sky puck remote dead
My Sky puck remote stopped working so I changed the batteries even though I only got it 3 months ago. Still nothing. I reset the puck- nothing. Tried pressing 1 and 3, then 4 and 6 - nothing. Changed batteries again - nothing. The puck works with another remote once I sync them. Can I assume the remote is dead and ask Sky for a new one?!

Re: Sky puck remote dead
Hi @Kenners11
Yes there have been issues with specific batches of the remote previously. The good news is because the pucks are now loaned to customers they are covered by a warranty. If you call Sky they will arrange a replacement (we are fellow subscribers on the forum) or use this form: https://www.sky.com/help/forms/streaming-tv-remote

Re: Sky puck remote dead
@Kenners11The remotes are pretty poor and are often causing issues so in addition to the post from @mikealanr try holding the remote at both ends and giving it a gentle twist as though you were wringing out a cloth. Even though it sounds an unlikely solution it has got many faulty remotes working again (including my own).
If you request a replacement and you have one available you can use a Sky Q remote while you wait for it to arrive.
