Sky puck constantly freezing

Sky puck constantly freezing driving us insane never had a problem with sky q . We have rebooted , checked internet speeds nothing works

You can't compare stream to Q. Q delivery is via satellite and Stream is via broadband.

 

You need 25Mbps for HD and 30Mbps for UHD. What you are describing is usually a symptom of poor WiFi connectivity or broadband speed. What speed is your broadband and what speed is your puck getting? You can check this by running a speed test in netflix. (Open left hand menu > get help? > Connection check).

Absolute nonsense, I have had issues since I got the stupid pucks, sold the dream! Both pucks lip sync issues, skys solution dumb down your sound settings. Not the pucks are freezing. I'm using Ethernet with full fibre 900. Netflix says my connection speed is 880mbps. So NO I do not accept the issue is broadband speed. The issue is with the pucks. Sky need to sort it out or let people out of their contracts to go back to Virgin.

You can't be using Ethernet - they are only 100mbs adapters in glass and pucks .

 

if you are using Ethernet you have to turn off wifi in the pucks settings

Ethernet to both the puck and TV. WiFi is turned off. Always use the TV apps because through sky I get lip sync issues.
