Sky puck alternatives

I have a sky puck, but have many issues with powering on, sound and picture issues. Is there an alternative method, i.e. box I can get instead of the pick when my Internet provider is someone other than sky.

@GraemeL  Yes, but perhaps do a google search or look at comparison websites rather than a Sky community?
