Sky freezing

When watching through sky q the picture freezes or drops out to sky pink picture no sound ,if I turn over channel they are all black screen.if I turn on to my normal tv stream picture and sound are working.if I turn off at plug and start again works for a short period and repeats

Sounds like poor wifi connection 

You need  a strong broadband, to stream, this is a common problem on here, you can see what speed your puck is getting by opening netfix go to help open that and run check my network, also bear in mind the more devices that you have connected the weaker the signal gets to each one, and if you live in an old house with solid walls inside this will also cause wifi issuses hope this helps you

My sky is plugged directly into router and speeds 65meg

As you are using ethernet.

Have you done the below settings on your pucks.

Set Network standby mode to ON.
Turn wifi OFF under Network if connected via ethernet.
