Re: Sky box and remote
A decent pair of Alkaline batteries should last at least a year with constant use.
Make sure the batteries you are using are listed as Alkaline and not Zinc. The Zinc ones will drain quickly in remote controls for TV or Sky boxes.
Both my pucks, needed a battery change after about a year of use. I ditched the batteries that came with the original remote and used my trusty Duracell Plus Alkaline ones, that I use for all my remotes and the like.
If you find it is draining batteries, might be worth requesting a replacement remote, you can order one online at the end of this help article;
Sky Stream with two pucks (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).
Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Mobile unlimited data. Sky Protect smart tech kit tester.
