Sky Stream to Sky Q?

Is it possible to go from Sky Stream to Sky Q (I understand with Sky Q you are able to record programs)?

I've been on Sky Stream now for about 7 months and I absolutely hate it!!  It doesn't work properly, it's playback is rubbish, some programes aren't even put on stream - all in all, in my opinion, it's absolute garbage!

Would I be able to go to Sky Q?  I don't even mind paying a small amount extra if I have to, as long as I can bin this rubbish I have at the moment!

Yes you can record on Sky Q and you have to pay extra to get HD😉

Do you know if I'll have to start a new 18 month contract, or will I be able to just change my existing contract - I have 11 months left of an 18 month contract?

Firstly Sky would need to be happy to terminate your Sky streaming contract. If they do then you would likely need to sign up to a new 24 month contract for Sky Q.

@MarkGoldsmith I really don't think I could suffer another 24 months with Sky!

As it is, I'm finding their whole service completly intolerable...from the streaming, right through to customer service, which seems to be non-existance when I try calling them.  😒
