Sky Stream pixellation, freezing, programmes won't load.

I'm getting pixellation or freezing on all channels, as well as programmes played on demand, making them almost unwatchable.

I've reset the connection and rebooted the system, but I know I'm getting over 100mb to the puck using the netflix speed check.

This has happened since the last update.

Entertainment os 1.3

Build QS034.022.00P

What have you done this time Sky? It's clearly an issue your end because apps like spotify and Netflix work fine using the puck.

I want a refund!

@Ed.B.  I've not noticed any issues using wifi since the update so it's clearly an issue at your end with the puck or connection.

Have you tried one of the foillowing, try over wifi not ethernet or rebooted both the puck & hub?

Re: Has sky reduced bandwidth/broadcast quality on stream?

No, it's a sky issue.

There's nothing wrong with my internet. I've updated my post above as sky is now unwatchable using the puck. Tv programmes either won't

As above.

Not Myself seen any issues since last update. Have aStable connection via my Sky broadband Ultrafast plus (400Mbps + to both pucks on wifi),  no pixelation or freezing issues.

Sounds like something has recently changed on your local network, if you were not getting this problem of late.

See you mention reset the connection and rebooted the system

Would advise to try a reboot of your router and a Sky Stream restart in settings;

Would suggest trying a restart of your Sky Stream box

Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete

When running the Sky Stream Netflix app, run it a good handful of times over say a half hour

period, especially during a busy household network time.

One other thing to consider at this time of year, make sure you have no Christmas lights or similar  that could be creating some kind of new interference.
