Sky Stream Puck Issues - can’t load channels, yet some apps can stream?

Had Sky stream for around 3 months, and had intermittent issues where channels won't load, and instead I get a technical fault error. At the same time, I can for instance open the Netflix app and steam on demand no problem at all. Normally the problems seem to go away by there own over time or by rebooting the puck. However I have been off work sick for 3 days now and none of the channels are working, and the stv player seems to be the only app streaming. The puck is setup wirelessly in the exact same position my sky q box was for years and it's worked flawlessly. I have a freesat box sat around a foot away and be using it instead for live tv. It also has no issue streaming, so I don't see how the issue can be my internet or wifi. Run the sky wifi diagnostic and it said everything is fine. Have rebooted the about a dozen times, as well as my router. Moved the puck off the glass shelving etc, nothing seems to work? Trying to contact Sky online for support but that seems like mission impossible. Anyone got any ideas? Don't understand why I would need a Ethernet connection when sky q worked wirelessly? Thanks!

You can try changing your dns settings on your router

 

change from auto to say cloudflare 

1.1.1.1
