Re: Sky Stream - Hyperoptic Broadband issues

Even after the change, I am still getting the' please wait' at the beginning the first time I turn it on. Anyone else getting it?

So you did change it? "Please wait" is on the TV. When I changed mine it immediately worked. Double check your settings were saved in the router

Yep, getting the same, connecting to the live programme for 30 seconds,  timining out & reloading the menu page.

Re: Sky Stream - Hyperoptic Broadband issues

Well I obviously did tempt fate because none of our Sky channels are working this morning.

Obviously immensely annoying as ut has been OK for two days.

Re: Sky Stream - Hyperoptic Broadband issues

Performed a completed 'switch it off, turn it back on again" for both router & puck.  Puck took a good 10 mins loading once powered back on, just left it to do its thing as thought it'd maybe got stuck however 'seems' to have fixed the issue for now.   Not sure something has been updated overnight so maybe these need to be uploaded to correct the ongoing issues.   Good luck! 🤞🏼

@Suyog you are best contacting Hyperoptic. They have a known DNS resolution issue that breaks the Sky streaming platform but if you phone they can implement a workaround solution for you, as they have done with numerous other of their customers that are using Sky.

Sky Stream, Sky Glass Air and Sky Broadband customer

Re: Sky Stream - Hyperoptic Broadband issues

My router has confirmed the changes to Cloudflare from when HO did it. I didn't change it again. It obviously proves there are still issues. Do we phone HO again and tell them it's not a complete fix?

I know when HO changed it, they restarted the router and told me nothing I needed to do

I did a restart of my puck yesterday also. Done another restart on both now

You could have a different issue, is it connected by WiFi or hardwired to the router? Can you hard wire it if not?

Re: Sky Stream - Hyperoptic Broadband issues

It's WiFi. If I hard wire it, for some reason it's not as fast on the Netflix speed test. I will just wait for HO and Sky to sort. The whole thing is a bit of a mess to be honest. It feels like neither organisation has made sure everything runs smoothly. Yes we going to have teething problems for a new system, but really it's quite poor what is happening. Both Sky and HO have been very helpful, but it's all very frustrating. The main thing I suppose, is that it's working, but we still have intermittent issues

Re: Sky Stream - Hyperoptic Broadband issues

Still on and off with technical fault in Edinburgh today (Hyperoptic).
Looks like the football will have to be watched on my laptop as WiFi is working on every other device (phones, iPad,  Alexa and laptops).

it is ONLY Skygkass which is not working.

Re: Sky Stream - Hyperoptic Broadband issues

I updated the dns at the router. And it fixed it instantly! Thank you all for the tip. Hopefully that will sort it now.
