Sky Stream Help

I have jiust signed up for Sky Ultimate TV (+ the Fibre) and the Sky Stream box has arrived.

To say I am massively underwhlemed is an understatement. Not with the content but the state of the box. I have been up and running for 2 days and it constantly freezes, the tab which I am moving around the on the home screen just blanks the content out, the apps section takes an age to load all the apps.

Am I missing something, is there a setting I need to select?

I think I will be phoning up tomorrow to cancel this mess and sending the TV box back.

@JamLaw11111  The 1st thing to look at is the speed being received to the hub, is it ethernet or wifi?   Open the netflix app on the puck, go to Get Help, run connection test.  What speed is being reported.

Recommended minimum broadband speed of 25Mbps. Or 30Mbps if you add an extra Sky Stream puck or to watch in UHD.

@JamLaw11111  But what does the speedtest via netflix on the puck report as wifi speeds are invariably much lower than the line speed to your hub.

Re: Sky Stream Help

425mps

Just did a full reset by unplugging it. Back to normal now.

It has been 48 hours. Not a chance am I putting up with this for 2 years, as I still have 12 days before my cooling off period ends.

Horrific start, as never had an issue with my BT TV box
