Sky Sports UHD picture keeps stuttering

I've been trying the NOWTV app on various things - Samsung TV app, Firestick 4K Max, Roku Streaming Stick 4K, and Apple TV 4K box. The live UHD Sky Sport channels are buttery smooth on all of them with no slow down/speed up glitching. 
There are some quirks with HDR on some versions of the app and NOWTV support are as useless as Sky when it comes to knowing how their service works, but the actual live sport streams are perfect.
The TV isn't even a new model, we've had it 5+ years, but the NOWTV app works brilliantly and picture/sound is spot on, it looks better than from the stream puck, probably because it's not juddering randomly! 
Anyway, I've signed up to Sky Sports on NOWTV for 6months at £20 a month. Ultra Boost at £4 a month (which includes the equivalent of whole home, so multiple screens) and we've cancelled Sky Stream. 
It looks to me like it's totally down to the puck and the increasingly busy Sky servers that they're connected to. the NOWTV app and the hardware it runs from, whether it's a TV or a stick or box, all clearly have a bigger buffer which helps keep the live UHD streams free from glitching. Some also seem to have better video processing that can maintain the stability of the stream. 
I won't be going back to Sky until there's a major improvement. NOWTV works much more reliably.

I have the same broadcast on with, to my surprise, no issue's whatsoever this morning. I started on 401, all fine, switched to 922, again all fine. I have changed the audio on the puck to passthrough from auto which potentially may be helping. I've only had the puck just a little over 4 weeks. In that time its performance has been very good with only some odd issues regarding sound settings. Auto being best for most tv shows and movies. Initially I tried passthrough. This exhibited dropouts. It hasn't today.

Funnily enough just after the third reset it's been smooth, so whatever the issue it seemed to be having seems to have sorted itself out

Yeah 407 is UHD, it's the F1 channel

Sky Sports UHD Main Event is completely unwatchable. Picture constantly stuttering, speeding up, sound out of sync.

Switched off stream puck and on again but no difference.

Waste of money.

Is anyone else experiencing a terrible ringing noise during the Liverpool vs Leeds game on Sky Sports Main Event UHD? There is no ringing during the adverts or in the studio segments, and there is not an issue on the Sky Premier League channel showing the Crystal Palace fixture, so I presume it is an issue with the broadcast itself.

Found myself here after searching for issue with UHD Channel stuttering/glitchy/lagging or whatever you want to call it! Liverpool game is currently unwatchable. I've read about "low latency" channels instead of UHD but I'm not sure where these are. Can anyone help with where to find these as we cannot watch this channel, my husband has a brain injury and it makes him nauseous/dizzy!

Low latency UHD is on channel 922 but I've been having the same issue with that stream too. I restarted my box at half time and seems to be much better now.

The low latency UHD channels are as bad.  The HD channel on 901 should be okay.

Following my earlier problems, in particular on 401 & 922, I had a visit from a Sky contractor yesterday and now have my puck hard wired to the Sky Max WiFi hub and managed to watch Liverpool V Leeds - the first decent trouble free picture/sound game this season! I'll keep you posted on future games, but not allowed to watch Sunderland V Man City, s I've had my train for today....🫩
