They're all Free so why cancel? 

Just take advantage of the free add on offers and you won't have to pay for it 

Back on topic there's no issues with watching on demand shows in UHD and they look noticeably better 

Only issue I get is with Dolby Atoms content but that's a whole different thread lol

Pass through had worked like a dream for me up until this week 

I watched the Sunderland v Newcastle match perfectly, tried watching the Cardiff v Chelsea match last night and it was unwatchable on pass through, watching the City v Brentford match tonight and it's stuttering intermittently 

Annoying because I thought it had sorted the issue but clearly not, though it seems to happen more with live football than other sports in UHD 

Clearly it's a issue with Sky, most likely the pucks, if I had to pay for UHD I would probably cancel the add on but seeing I've had 4 free months of UHD and just got another 4 months I can put up with it plus I watch a lot of content on catch up in UHD not just sport and that plays find other than the odd issue with Dolby Atoms 

What I find annoying is that Sky don't offer the football on demand in UHD it's only HD, if it was offered in UHD then it could be watched back without any problems because the issue seems to be with live streams not on demand

 Correct that's exactly what it does, having audio on Auto it means the puck has to deal with too many jobs at once and it inevitably ends up putting too much pressure on the system which causes it to stutter 

Pass through seems to bypass this and help it be more stable, however it's not fail safe as I explained in my previous post, also there has been times when I've been able to watch a live match without any issues back on Auto audio

@KevNewMedia Any updates? This still happens every time I watch sky sports UHD on a puck - doesn't happen with any other UHD service, just sky sports.

Stuttering away tonight. Funny thing is I was consigned to the spare room for an hour or so to watch on the spare puck and it was perfect...UHD 4k and no stutters. The living room telly is right next to the broadband and the spare room 3 rooms away so nothing to do with the internet speed.

Is this constant or just some camera angles as I've spotted it on just the one camera angle so far?  Seems to be a bit sticky on the wide camera angle?   Close ups seem ok Can any one confirm?

Having read various comments this one has been the most helpful and the uhd sports has been spot on tonight.

Ok this is very worrying  but this morning Quest HD is displaying the same symptoms - is this indicative of a bigger  issue 🤦🏻

Update the program just came to a complete halt .. eventually came back a couple of  minutes later still stuttering .

@GD1 It's not just one camera angle, it's the whole broadcast.

Picture speeds up then slows down, it's like the picture is constantly trying to catch up with the audio.

While watching the darts the scores were being called while the player had just thrown his first dart.

Ad breaks are fine though, no issues.

After I did a box reset last night the issue did seem to resolve for a while.

All these issues and they can't seem to fix it and the machine has been out for a time now.  Maybe they have spent too much time blaming others and not holding their hands up and admitting fault

 How do they expect current customers to move from Q or even new customers to come along if they can't sort the many issues out

To be fair though, they have tried to help when I have communicated on emails and it's not the responsibility of the team but it's the back office technical team that need to be doing more

I recently moved from BT to Sky. Same internet speed and prior to Sky had no issue with any UHD broadcast, including BT Sports in UHD. 

sky football in UHD is a real pain. Resetting the LAN hub helps temporarily but just proves the caching on the sky Puck can't cope with the internet stream on the UHD football channel. 

apps on TV and the old BT box were seamless. 

The sky box is the issue and until they resolve it cancelling UHD is the only option as it's just too frustrating to watch.....
