Sky Sports UHD picture keeps stuttering

For anyone on this thread.... I too see the stuttering issue on Sky Sports Main Event UHD, specifically during Live football/F1 events. However my issue is extended in that my Puck's UI also becomes really laggy and unresponsive while the channel is on e.g. If I press home and try to navigate to my playlist with the channel running in the background. Does anyone else see this behaviour or is their Puck's UI the same as when other channels are on?

Yes, the UI on my puck is also slow when on Sky Sports UHD.

I'm having very similar problems to many on here with UHD Sky sports glitching. My set up is Sky puck with LG OLED C3 TV, Sonos Beam 2 soundbar. Tried setting sound to "pass through " on the puck settings (previously set at "auto") and this appears to have sorted things, at least the last 10 mins have been fine watching Hull v Middlesbrough. I have had the puck for 9 months and glitching on UHD has not been a major issue until the last week or so...something has changed, will Sky fess up and admit the bug/issue? Won't hold my breath...

I also have a similar set up and tried this fix. It's definitely improved since, but still get the odd slowdown.

How bad can it be that I've now switched to watching the footie (including my team tonight UTB) soley on HD. My dopamine levels cannot cope with the excitement and subsequent let down of a juddering UHD. 

Shame sky have not come back but I assume they simply do not have a solution. Good luck in getting your respective refunds.

I've watched quite a bit of Hull vs Boro with no glitches at all. Likewise I watched the whole of Man City vs Fulham (the entire match) with almost no glitches BUT Man United vs West Ham the other night was all over the place so in essence Sky Sports UHD can do it but they can't do it most of the time. I have a good package that includes UHD which is fabulous for everything except Sky Sports. When my contract ends I'm probably going back to Virgin.

Must admit this happens when I'm watching Man Utd games. Wonder if it's something to do with them attracting more viewers on the server?

This also worked for me, until recently. Then it's reverted back. Watching on non main event uhd channels also seems to work for me. So premier league uhd.

Anyone watching Leeds v Liverpool it's shocking tonight. Tried 922 and 401. Both bad.

Agreed, has been like this for about a month for me all UHD Channels shocking has anyone rang up about this ?  If so what's there reply?

It would be interesting what parts of the UK everyone who is having issues is in and whether it's linked to the CDN's wherever they are located. Me, I'm in the North East, Newcastle..

Hull, internet provider is KCOM which is really fast   Never had any issues.

They offer you a tenner apparently but takes you an hour of your time.

Try the premier league uhd channel and it should be better.
