Sky Sports F1 UHD Quality

Hi community,

I'm a new Sky Stream customer, previously a Sky Q customer a few years ago.

I've had a few issues so far, most of which I've now gotten over, however this one I'm not sure I can do anything about, but open to ideas.

Whilst watching F1 in UHD (though it's also noticeable on the HD channel) I've seen some annoying/distracting image quality issues.

as you will see from the photo below, the stream is UHD, the quality of the the sky sports channel logo is crisp and high quality, but the actual content is not great quality.

the photo shows one of the most distracting parts of this, when a line (in this case the edge of the track) becomes jagged / aliased. It's almost as though the source stream has been poorly deinterlaced before being sent out.

It's nothing the TV is doing, as this is a picture of a paused program and all of the rubbish AI image processing on the TV is turned off.

Is this just how it is? Or have I missed a setting somewhere in the very limited menu?

Re: Sky Sports F1 UHD Quality

The Japanese filming at the begining of the race seemed to be the worst. But it did sort its self out mid race.

@SkyStreamUs3r the drop in resolution could be a bandwidth issue. Have you ran a speed test via the Netflix app to see what speeds your puck is getting?
