Sky Pucks Will Not Get Dispatched
I have placed 3, yes 3 new orders with Sky for their broadband and sky stream....and not 1 puck is getting to the despatch stage.
1st order I placed, Sky told me this was a very rare incident, so they decided to cancel the Sky Stream order and re order it.
2nd order....exactly the same thing occurred! I now have had more tickets raised than a raffle book! Every time it gets sent to the back office, apparently it gets resolved....but It never does!
3rd order...I was then asked to cancel the Sky Stream, and start a new order on a new account number and email address... this was done.....and guess what! Yep same thing!
I have spent hours on the phone, online chat, and nothing is resolved. There is no issue on my account, no outstanding balance etc, but not one person is able to resolve the issue.
All someone has to do is put a puck in a box and ship it out, but they can't. I left virgin media to return to Sky, and I was promised to have the puck by 17th April, so therefore I have been unable to watch sports/movies as I now have no Virgin and NO Sky.
Funnily enough, the broadband was never an issue and got my router no problem!
Utter shambles!

Except that modern logistics dictates the despatch warehouse won't be within a hundred miles of the location taking the order (or a thousand miles of the call centre) and unless the serial number on the hardware matches the one on the account database the puck just isn't going to work...
