Hello was wondering if anyone had any ideas on this!?
My partner works from home and his PC needs to be connected via ethernet. In our old house, we had a normal sky multiroom box that we connected to our TV in our bedroom. Because the box was connected to the wifi, it gave the PC internet via an ethernet cable and worked well.
We've just moved house and got sky stream and thought that getting an extra luck for his office would do the same thing, but when we put the ethernet from the puck into his PC the Puck no longer gets an internet connection.
Has anyone any ideas? Thank you

The ethernet on the puck won't provide Internet to the pc I'm afraid thats just for the Internet to go in to the puck ....I'd advise some powerline adapters 🙂

Have you actually set the office puck up on WiFi? If it was set to ethernet before and you just unplugged the ethernet cable it'll still be looking for an ethernet connection. You need to turn WiFi on, connect to your broadband's WiFi network and hope that you get a fast enough signal in the office to run it.

We set it up on wifi first yes. Then we plugged in the ethernet cable into the PC and it didn't work. The light on the ethernet port was flashing yellow but no internet was provided to the PC so I'm just assuming it doesn't work.

Yeah if the pc has to habe ethernet plugged in I recommend the adapters you plug one in next to your router with an ethernet then one next to the pc with with ethernet .then you should have Internet to the pc 🙂

So you plugged the ethernet cable into the PC. Where was the other end of the ethernet cable connected to? It needs to go directly into your broadband router, not into the puck.
Stream pucks do not act as WiFi hotspots in the same way as Sky Q miniboxes do.
