Sky Puck Turned off Overnight

Each morning, I press and hold the power button on my sky remote to turn on my Samsung TV (they are linked). My TV turns on but my puck has to then be turned on separately with another press.

I have network standby mode on, and overnight power saving and sleep timer both off. Please can someone help as I already had issues with controlling the TV.

You action a long press when putting your Sky Stream and TV into standby mode.

To startup your Puck and TV together, just press the Home or power button on the Sky Stream remote with a one click press (not long press).

Assume when you paired your Sky Stream remote you added your Samsung TVcorrectly, If you did you will be able to change the tv volume using your Sky Stream remote.

In the Sky stream puck settings, under Start up and standby, make sure hdmi control is on.

Plus, in your Samsung Tv settings make sure the HDMI-CEC (also known as anynet + on Samsung TVs) setting is on for the hdmi port your Sky Stream is connected to.

Issue is that I set this up before, however a short press would turn the TV on then I would have to wait for the box to turn on and likely have to press the power again. 

This has been frustrating since I got the box

Hi @Sam090994 I suspect it is just that your TV is turning on much quicker than your stream puck.  Make sure Networked Standby Mode is turned ON in the Settings > Start up & Standby menu.

As per @lettice I turn on my Samsung S90C and puck with a single press of the home button on my remote.  The TV comes on a couple of seconds before the puck.

I think I've pretty much found the issue. As the remote is inactive when the TV is off. The puck will go into auto energy standby mode. This turns the TV off. 

Is there any way to stop this from happening as it's very frustrating.
