Sky Puck Free to Air channels
does anyone have a rundown of what Free to Air channels are available via a Sky Puck, (if any), once I've cancelled my initial 18 month contract?
thanks in advance

None. You get no access to the live channel streams, even the free-to-air ones.
If you signed up 18 months ago then you'll probaby need to return your puck to Sky anyway as only those who signed up before February 2023 get to own their pucks, ever since then they have been loaned to customers.

Re: Sky Puck Free to Air channels
Pucks acquired before 23rd February 2023 apparently retain free to air digital terrestrial television reception ability (if connected to an aerial) without a Sky subscription, although it's unclear if this is intentional. As @Ellie_TV indicates, there are no streaming channels if Sky isn't being paid: 'free to air' refers to broadcast service (from satellite or ground mast), while Stream content arrives over a cable.

Re: Sky Puck Free to Air channels
Go for the sky essentials pack at £15.00 it includes Netflix at 4.99 and discovery plus basic at £3.99. So you are getting functionality plus Sky Atlantic and Sky sports news plus all free to air for about £6 a month. This is only for new customers, but worth asking Sky if you can have it rather than lose you as a customer all together.

'Essential TV' rather than 'TV Essentials' ; )
Outstanding choice of product name from Sky marketing department there...
