Since the 20th September Sky Glass Puck issues, when turning on the Puck in my bedroom it knocks of Wifi connectivity in my house. All devises are affected until the Puck is turned off. Then it takes around 15/20 minutes for all other devices to return to normal. While the Puck is on it works but not without problems, such as freezing when in apps and losing Wifi connect itself. When it is switched on and off through the button on the Puck it seems to work (other devices do not) for a short period of time as normal. Have rebooted the router several times and reset the Puck to factory settings, however the problems still exist.
Please advise. Thank you.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSounds like a local network speed issue within your household.
Are you connecting your pucks via wifi?
What is the expected broadband speed that your ISP mentioned on your package to your broadband router?
Can you do a network speed test on each of your Pucks.
Launch Netflix on your pucks (you do not need to be logged into it, if you do not use netflix) and scroll down the left menu to Get help.
Choose Check Network.
Would suggest running the test a few times, say a few minutes between tests.
What is your speed?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe recommended minimum broadband speed for Sky Stream is 25Mbps.
Or 30Mbps if you add an extra Sky Stream puck or to watch in UHD

It's not impossible for an individual malfunctioning device to bring down an entire local network: personally I think I'd request that Sky replaces it.
