Sky Devialet soundbox issue

I've been using the Sky Devialet SB100 soundbox successfully with a Sky Q box. The remote would wake up the soundbox from standby or power off and the volume could be controlled as well.

I have recently changed my Sky equipment to Sky Stream and now the puck is connected to the SB100 using the supplied HDMI cable and the SB100 is connected to the same HDMI input as before using the same cable. The optical connection from the TV is as before.

The Sky Stream remote has been paired to the SB100 according to -

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/setting-up-sky-soundbox-sky-stream-puck-remote

The volume on the soundbox can be controlled successfully from the Sky Stream remote - however, the remote will not wake up the SB100 from standby (orange indicator) or from the power off condition (red indicator). It is only possible to switch on the soundbox by using it's own Devialet remote.

It would appear that the wake-up command should be given via an HDMI instruction from the video and sound source from the puck, but this command is either missing or is not recognised by the SB100 when the puck comes out of standby.

Is there a solution to this issue where the Devialet remote must always be used to wake up the soundbox instead of the Sky Stream remote?

Hi @MartyPB

The SoundBox is now legacy and therefore this is unlikely to be resolved.

There hasn't been a solution so far and it's been flagged on the community a number of times.

As @mikealanr indicates, it's somewhat unlikely the Comcast devopers responsible for the Stream puck were aware that the Soundbox was ever (briefly) a thing.
