Re: Sick of this new device that just doesn’t work
If the device is next to the router then try an Ethernet cable - this will let you know if it's the device or not!
is it a Vodafone mobile sim based internet of fixed landline ?

When using Ethernet remember to disable the WiFi in the puck settings other it will switch back over to WiFi.

Re: Sick of this new device that just doesn’t work
The device is connected to the wifi and it will come on.. work for a while and then out of nowhere the screen will go blank.
It just wont play anything from Netflix
Works well with Disney+
The internet is not what is not working
The device is the issue

Wifi is somewhat unpredictable. It may be perfectly fine in one area and unstable in another, even if nearer to the router. If it's practical to try an ethernet connection it would confirm whether or not wifi is the issue.

The cost of Netflix's higher subscription tiers was increased in December for new customers or those switching between tiers. It's now £6pm for Netflix Standard (2 screens in HD) and £11pm for Netflix Premium (4 screens in 4K).

I agree with you - the Stream puck itself can be a temperamental little thing. I think because they are so mass produced that there may be several batches which have dodgy WiFi antenna or some such.
I have tended to stop using the apps on the puck and use them on my TV instead as they are faster and more reliable. I just use the puck for live TV and on demand Sky programmes. I have mine connected via ethernet and it's generally fine.

It's really important to try the check on Netflix for the network speed. You might have the best WiFi connection in the world on the other devices but the issue could be the WiFi card on you puck.
We're all just customers here trying to help you out and this is a common thing.

If that is through the Puck, then is that when you are having issues or after a reboot?
My puck would show in around 200Mbps after reboot but less than 7Mbps when I was having issues.
