True running a speedtest via the Netflix app. Most of the time, screen freezes are a result of buffering caused by a low WiFi connection speed between the puck and your router or interference on the WiFi connection..
Ideally, you need a stable WiFi connection between the puck and router of around 25mbps for HD or 35mbps for UHD

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt will be the strength and stability of your Wifi.
I had the same thing when i first got a Sky Stream (also only on live sport), all went away when switching from Wifi to ethernet as its a more stable connection

We get this as well, and the puck is wired so not a wifi issue
