Hi All.
Have been binge watching Brookside on the STV Player for the last month. Yesterday it decided it wouldn't open beyond the logo. Powered off the box for 10 seconds then tried again, no joy.
Have tried opening direct from the Apps menu and from my playlist. I have refreshed my Apps, same result.
I can open it on my Nvidia Shield with no issues.
Is there a way to reset the login details if the login has expired when unable to open the app or reset the app completely? I could try changing the STV Player password but this might not take effect for several days.

10 seconds isn't really long enough on these boxes for it to have positive impact. Try pulling the plug for a prolonged period say 2 to 5 minutes. The app refresh isn't instant either and can take up to 24 hours to compete.
Failing this it's a full box reset or see if there is a way that you can logout of devices via the stv player website and see if that works.
