I have two Sky pucks in separate rooms which are both about 3 meters from the router which is in a room between the two TVs next to the personal computer. The walls between the rooms are plaster boards. One puck works fine, the picture and sound quality are acceptable nearly all the time, even when the football and Wimbledon are on! The broadband provider is Virgin Media and when I check the connection speed to the TVs via Nexflix they normally come up around the 250 mark when all is woking well.
THe issues I have are as follows:
a. Far to frequently the picture freezes for between 1 and 10 seconds
b. The screen goes blank and comes up "Please wait for your prograame to load"
c. The TV that freezes is slower than the other (For example, the first half of one of the recent football matches had finished on one TV whereas as there was still about 5 minutes to play on the other!)
I can sometimes getting it working properly again by detaching the two cables in the back of the puck (which is the second puck Sky has provided) for about 10 seconds.
Both TVs are connected to the router by WIFI - would a cable link help? One other point is that teh TV thast plays up is connected via a sound bar would this make a difference?
Advice would be appreciated!

Your broadband speed sounds more than adequate so it points to there being some kind of interference in the WiFi signal which is causing the problems.
If you can connect via ethernet and turn WiFi off on both pucks, that would ensure you get a cleaner network connection so it's worth a go.
Ethernet cables are cheap and you can get flat ones which are easy to hide under carpets or along the edge of rooms.
